After inclement weather caused the cancellation of Governors Ball Day 3 (arguably featuring the most anticipated lineup of this year's festival), headliner Kanye West decided to take things into his own hands. At around 10 pm, Yeezy tweeted that a surprise 2 am show was already sold out. Apparently set to be held at Webster Hall, fans rushed to the East Village to try their luck. Obviously, things got a little insane.
Look at this power. It's almost 2 AM & more than half of these people aren't going to get in. pic.twitter.com/sdGyKEhFzi

According to Kim Kardashian's Snapchat, Kanye attempted to call Mayor de Blasio to have four blocks closed so that the thousands who showed up could party outside. No such luck.

After crushing crowds and reports of people climbing up on scaffolding and mail trucks, officials and Webster Hall employees tried to clear everyone out by assuring them there would be no show after all. However, those who stuck around were treated to a Yeezus drive-by with Travis Scott up 3rd Avenue. Yeah, he just stood out of the sunroof like a groom-to-be in his bachelor party limo. At least you can't say the guy doesn't go all the way for his fans.
