Last September, we caught wind of some shadyness on 1 oak bar receipts, whereby it said “A 20% service charge has been added for Bottle Service Thank You”.  Though unclear whether or not this charge was added, it certainly raised questions and perhaps some concerns about itemization, transparency, etc.  Well alas, 1 oak has responded by changing the text at the bottom of bar receipts to now read "A 20% Service Charge will be added for Bottle Service Thank You." Amazing how the simple changing to verb tenses can clear up any confusion!  Much thanks to the 1 oak team for clearing this up.
