It may sound petty, but when you end up alone in Rose room (Beatrice) while half of your friends are fighting to get into Rose Bar (Gramercy) and the other half are buying bottles at Rose Club (Plaza), you'll start to wonder if naming a place Rose ___ is the new ______ Inn. [Division Street]

In response to the New York Times review of the Rose Club at the Plaza Hotel.  Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet?
