A Tim Burton-Themed Bar Is Coming To NYC

by Stephanie Maida · April 21, 2016

So we may or may not be getting that Beetlejuice sequel, but creeps, weirdos, and fashion goths everywhere can rejoice in the prospect of an insane new watering hole. According to its website, a new Tim Burton-themed bar is opening later this month in the East Village. Yes, a TIM. BURTON. THEMED. BAR.

It's called Beetle House (we see what you did there) and it's by the guys behind Stay Classy, the Will Ferrell-themed spot on Rivington. With kooky cocktails named the Jack Skellington, Edward's Lemonade, and the Headless Horseman, the haunt promises to keep the Halloween spirit alive all year round. There's even a restaurant portion (by reservation only) serving up "meat sourced locally from 100% innocent humans captured wild on the streets of NYC." Yum.

Get out your best funeral garb and sharpen your scissorhands, folks. Think (former) cool-guy Johnny Depp will make an appearance?
