What recession?! An anonymous clubgoer bought this $20k bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne at Marquee last week!! Here is a picture of the bottle; it's 6 liters and was the first of a limited edition of 30 to be sold in the US. The bottle is so big it's covering the mysterious moneybags who bought it. Am I the only one to be shocked that someone would spend 20k on a bottle... at MARQUEE????? I mean if I had that kind of money to spend on a bottle I would at least try to spend it somewhere even remotely cool.. like at least kiss and fly... which doesnt mean kiss and fly is any cool... but still... marquee in (the end) of 2008....looser douche.
