More photo's from Monday night's NYC Nighlife Preservation Community Launch party at M2 are surfacing, and this is one of my favorites. We caught up with Chloe Sevigny (who upon arriving exclaimed to Steve Lewis-the man working the door as well as his bowtie- "Steve! I'm having flashbacks of Tunnel!" He's heard that before. Then came Paul Sevigny, that's DJ Paul Sevigny to you. The co-owner of the recently shutdown west village hot spot Beatrice Inn was carring a huge cardboard box full of white "Free the Beatrice" t-shirts (sister Chloe was rocking hers), that he passed out to lucky fans.
So, can NYC nightlife be saved? Well, that's for you to decide at the polls this primary round. However, judging by the hundreds of people who came out Monday night, all with roledex's in the thousands no doubt, we are taking a step in the right direction.
