"Best $2k I Ever Spent!" Winter Afternoons At Merkato 55

It looks like the night was really starting to pick up....except this wasn't night time, it was in the middle of the day, and just another Saturday afternoon at Merkato 55. Sparklers are just one of the components that the Koch brothers use to make you feel like you are miles away from the day light cold at their infamous brunch. Champagne and dancing on tables are others. Oh and those huge curtains that drap the windows (see photo after the break). Usually the party continues on into the early evening at Bijoux downstairs, though the one time I went, I needed to go straight home at 5pm for a NAP!

I love those Koch Twins!!! They deff know how to throw the BEST parties in NYC, be it night..OR DAY!!! I have a feeling people will be hearing a lot more about this dynamic duo and thier names being recognized world wide ;-)
