It's been hosting parties since August, but on Tuesday night the Gansevoort Park Hotel held their official opening party. Open bars, majestic views of Manhattan, and so much buzz even Provocateur's Michael Satsky stopped by to check out the competition....

So will the Gansevoort Park give Rose Bar and Ace Hotel, its nearest competitors, a run for their money? The jury's still out, but we will say it's nice to have options outside of the Meatpacking, and we can't wait to see how The Plunge's heated pool will be utilized at parties throughout the winter. (It'll be steamy in the literal sense, at the very least...)
