Greenhouse turned one year old last week, and celebrated its first birthday with the ever random pairing of Steve "the Gutte" Guttenberg and Shannon Elizabeth on b-list duty, as Mr. Mauricio, Jus Ske and Rashad Hayes blew up the turntables in the main room.

The nightclub really deserved a little lighthearted fun (or did it?), as there hasn't been a whole lot to celebrate, lately. The eco-friendly talk of the town just 12 short months ago has since confronted more than a few nightlife buzzkills (to say the very, very least) : discrimination, fights, law suits, murder...was this the last hurrah for the Varick Street stop? We'll have to wait and see, but place your bets now on whether there will be future birthday parties to toast...
