It isn't easy to find love in New York...but there's one unlikely day a year when the process gets a tiny bit easier. "The Ball" is an annual gala held on Christmas Eve, which attracts over 4,000 Jewish singles, making it the largest singles event in the nation.
The event spans a number of venues in the Meatpacking District, including Hiro, Carnival, and an after party at Lucky Strike. $25 gets will buy you the "Jewniversal Pass", which gives you entrance to all the venues, as well as transport between parties in specially designated hummers.
With 4,000 attendees, it's no wonder the event is widely regarded as THE Jewish singles event of the year. According to Paper Magazine,
"The Ball is a holiday in its own right for Jewish Singles."
And with 4,000 potential mates to choose from, it's a pretty safe bet attendees won't stay single for long...

This was really quite wonderful. And is also exactly why I stay the fuck away from these things. Jewish "Singles" Scenes = Terrifying.
