Interview Magazine, along with Standard Sounds, held a performance by drop dead gorgeous Dane, Oh Land last night at Top of the Standard. Doors opened at 11pm, with the crowd of fashion designers and party scene-staples arriving on the dot to deal with the doorman who even made girl-about-town Leigh Lezark give her name 2x and wait her turn. The minor hassle was worth it.
Other guests included Riccardo Tisci, Richard Chai , Kate Lanphear, Rufus Wainwright, Genevieve Jones, Armin Amiri, Peter Davis, and Andrew Saffir.
Olivier Theyskens flirted with a cute guy who resembled Andrew Garfield, while Fabiola Beracasa smoked on the roof discussing how her mother gave her the green dress she was wearing.
Oh Land took the stage around midnight just as the crowd coming from the AmFar gala began to arrive. She played the the elbow-to-elbow room in a white feathery headdress and sheer white shirt that made her look like an Indian Spirit Angel or like she was coming from a fashion magazine photo shoot with a set that included favorite "Sun of a Gun."
