Monkey Bar, with it's golden candel-ish glow, plush red booths, and festive holiday wreaths looks much like it probably did around Christmas-time during the 40s and 50s. Only the crowd has changed, moving from the suave city slickers of the 40s, to the Mad Men of the 60s, to the powerful movers and shakers who dominated the Midtown locale today. The Graydon Carter-helmed restaurant was the setting for last night's Bulgari Anniversary Auction.
