Dear @HauteNights, A few weeks ago I met this really cute guy out at the club. We exchanged numbers and began texting nonstop. The next time I seen him out, I was with one of my friends. Aside from a small amount of friendly banter, they did not talk much. I come to find out they are now Facebook “friends” and he has been instant messaging her. As far as I know it’s been mostly friendly conversation but it makes me really jealous and I feel like it is kind of shady. Am I just being possessive or is this guy a player? -Anonymous

Dear Anonymous, This guy is bad news. If I’m seriously interested in a girl, I am not going to seek out her friends to talk on the internet or any other medium. In fact, I’ve had friends of girls I’ve been talking to message me on Facebook before. I always felt it was kind of awkward. Get rid of him and focus on the relationship with your friend. If she is your “friend” then it is kind of f*cked up on her part to begin talking to someone you are interested in. Talk to her, if the topic of conversation between them isn’t “how can he win you over”, chances are he’s trying to sleep with her, or she’s trying to sleep with him… Proceed with caution.
