Andre Balazs' latest venture, The Standard East Village, (the former Cooper Square Hotel), will play host to Tavi Gevinson, the 15 year-old blogger and magazine super star, as she sings Neil Young's "Heart of Gold." The event will screen Tavi's film chops in CADAVER, an animated short film in which the teenager voices a med student. Even though Balzs has promised the spot will be a more low key version of it's westside sister hotel, this event will definitely be something people are talking about from this season's NYFW.
