Sure it's in Hell's Kitchen, but it's also a rooftop lounge with views of the Hudson, comfy cabanas to view it on, an awesome, kitschy-preppy drink menu (try the Wicket, a mix of gin and cucumber purée, and simple bbq eats. The man behind it, Greg Brier, also did Aspen, D'Or, and Amalia, so you can rest assured you'll be in good hands. Head over tomorrow and you'll have a bedside view of the Macy's fireworks.
