Last night, in collaboration with i-D Magazine and Gucci, Christie’s hosted a eclectic exhibition, celebrating the recent publication of a 600-page book entitled "SOUL i-D" (go HERE for more). The founders of i-D magazine, Terry and Tricia Jones, contoured this innovative exhibition to be assembled in the form of a suspended eye at the center of the gallery, "offering a prism window into the heavenly heart and soul of modern society." Christie’s is showcasing the final leg of a three year international exhibition tour, unveiling the highlights of this highly laudable visual anthology in the United States. Guests mingled over martinis, dabbled in discussions about literature and exhibition, and divulged in the sun kissed sunrise cocktail on the modern metallic plates carried by quirky cocktail waiters. Attendees also enjoyed the colorful pieces adorning the whitewashed walls, including photographs, collages, and short written pieces by these amazing artists.

Displayed in the Christie’s galleries in Rockefeller Center, this thought-provoking exhibition encompasses a vivid display of photography, anecdotes, personal experiences, advice and wisdom featured in SOUL i-D. This best-selling book presents insights and contributions from some of the most creative names in contemporary fashion, music, art and design including Ron Arad, Giorgio Armani, Bono, Neville Brody, Olafur Eliasson, Tracey Emin, David LaChapelle, Chris Martin, Alexander McQueen and Yoko Ono.
