Last night marked the first ever New York presentation of the infamous play Legends! for a one night only staged reading at Town Hall benefiting Friends In Deed. The cast of seven consisted of famed writer Fran Lebowitz; Tony-nominated and drag queen legend Charles Busch; Dashaun Young, Todd DuBail, writer, fashionista, and lip-synching pro John Epperson (a.k.a. Lypsinka); Mad Men actor Bryan Batt, and actress Lisa Estridge who stepped in at the last minute for Whoopi Goldberg who was supposedly sick with the flu.

More story and photos from this event below...The hilarious comedy about two washed up actresses went on as planned even without Whoopi to a starlit audience including Michael Kors, Stephen Sondheim, Patrick McDonald, Liz Smith, and Phyllis Newman.
