Supermodel Helena Christensen is a woman of many talents. Not only is she on the most famous faces of the 1990s, she is also a lover of antiques, a documented cheese fanatic, and...a photographer!   Last night, Dactyl Foundation gallery on the Lower East Side hosted the opening of Christensen's newest photographic exhibition, "far from, close." Guests at the event included Kelly Cutrone, Michael Stipe, Jeff Koons, Hamish Bowles, Ally Hilfiger, and Neil Grayson. For every photo sold, Dactyl will donate a camera to a kid at the Bronx organization The Point, so that they can, like Helena, pursue their artistic visions.
