Last night marked two red-letter events for Russian-born artist, Lana Lucas: her birthday, which was celebrated at the opening of her latest exhibit, "Thru the Prism of Green Eyes", at the InterArt Gallery. Art lovers and friends came to view the surrealist painter's deeply provocative work, which is known to feature intense subject matter while making use of sumptuous and vibrant colors. They also were privy to a performance by shred violinist, Michael Shulman. Experimental music and art made for a truly surreal evening. More photos below...
