Last night we were at The Young Collectors Council's Artist's Ball at the Guggenheim museum, honoring artist Ryan McGinley.   Ryan is the youngest artist to have a solo show in the Whitney (at 24).  His work is mostly color images of friends and lovers on the 'fringes' of society. Last night's event, preceeded by the New Yorkers for Children event at Salviati, was sponsored by Chloé and had quite the turnout.  Gossip Girl Blake Lively was there, along with Piper Perabo (of Coyote Ugly fame, and more recently of being linked to Jimmy Fallon), Leelee Sobieski, Claire Bernarnd, Lauren Davis, Arden Wohl, and recently single Amy Sacco.  The Band Blonde Redhead provided the entertainment, and everyone was in a rather festive mood.
