The Whitney Art Party

Artists, fashion designers, and celebs flock to the annual Whitney Art Party—a hyper magnet for the "Beautiful People," says Elle magazine—in support of the museum’s Independent Art Program. Raise a glass of Moët while checking out the silent auction, which features contemporary American artists like Cy Twombly. Past guests include Bradley Cooper, Christina Ricci, Calvin Klein, Prabal Gurung, and Maggie Betts. Last year, partygoers received an umbrella designed by artist Mark Fox, so even if you lose at the auction, you'll still swagger away high and dry!
