While thousands of people celebrated the summer solstice at some ancient ruins across the pond, some beautiful folks from Sweden kicked off summer's official arrival at the Swedish Midsummer Party at Union Square Ballroom Friday night. Dubbed as the "only authentic Swedish Midsummer party in NYC," those tall, blond, and svelte Scandinavians danced to some sweet Euro Pop music, imbibed Swedish drinks, and even had the chance to win Bjorn Borg underwear and other products. Oh, those Swedes really know how to party...and it's not even midsummer!
