"This gathering was the biggest flashback I've had since I licked that aluminum foil in the bathroom of Save The Robots."

Monday night, BlackBook hosted a party for their newest star, Steve Lewis at his newly opened Aspen Social Club.  Steve is happy with the turnout:

"Last night a DJ saved my life. Marky Ramone, my old friend, was kind enough to display his considerable skills at a party BlackBook threw me at Aspen Social...This gathering was the biggest flashback I've had since I licked that aluminum foil in the bathroom of Save the Robots." [Blackbook]

    More story and photos below:

Steve gave me a tour of the place, like he has done at every other place he has designed.  His enthusiastic passion brought me back to the first time he took me on a tour of Butter four years ago, explaining in detail each and every design choice. Oh, and the Chandelier? Its $110k, not $100k as we stated before.

After hanging out with Marky, Lily (of the Valley), Debbie Harry, Studio 54 muse Edwige Belmore, and "so many more denizens of another era which still seems to have so much relevance", Steve ended his night at Butter, the all time Monday night hot spot and the first place he designed for someone else.  Steve, you have lived, man have you lived. Success should always be measured in the level of passion you find with the career you choose, and you Steve, are one of the most successful men I know. Congratulations on everything, I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
