The Hive
Recently, female friendly dating app Bumble built a lounge in SoHo called The Hive for networking and dating. It functions as a meet-up spot for its users and as a place for singles to mingle. On paper, this sounds kind of ideal but at the end of the day, it's probably a little awkward and contrived. We wouldn't call a date surrounded by other dates romantic, especially when you're also gated in by neon signs advertising Bumble.
