CBGB, the legendary punk rock band, closed its doors in 2006 after 33 years of launching bands such as The Ramones, Television, The Talking Heads, and Blondie. The spot may have lost some of its street cred now that it's a John Varvatos Store, but is no less in-demand than it was in its heyday, with various events drawing big names to the famous venue. According to a tipster, the venue was most recently host to Anthony Martignetti's birthday party.-

Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
