If you've ever dreamed about a secret garden à la Frances Hodgson Burnett (remember that book?), prepare to experience it in real life - with a suitably grown-up twist.
Iconic Central Park eatery Tavern on the Green is launching a whimsical weekend Bubble Garden celebrating all things fizzy, including, especially, champagne, sparkling wines, and creative cocktail spritzes.
The family-friendly pop-up will also feature bubble tea and a special al fresco menu curated by Chef Bill Peet, with bubble-themed dishes like smoked salmon salad with caviar, a braised beef short rib sandwich with pickled red pearl onions and horseradish cream, and cherry tomato flatbread.
Decked out in round paper lanterns, strings of lights, and a bubble machine, it's sure to be a magical summertime experience that brings you back to your childhood (with the addition, of course, of bubbly). There will even be a balloon artist on-site during opening and closing weekends!
June 1 - July 4, Thursday - Sunday, 12 pm - close
