Why It's Cool: Held in cities around the world, from Saigon, to Melbourne, to Seattle, the 8th annual NYC and 6th annual international Pillow Fight Day will be held again this year in Washington Square Park. To join the thousands that come out for the battle every year, all you’ll need is a soft, feather-free pillow for swinging and your toughest-looking pair of pajamas. At the end of the day, you’ll have the option to donate your fluffy artillery to homeless shelters in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
