The High Line Hotel

Oh, y'all. This place is such a gem, I'm a little sad to even tell you about it. Intelligentsia Coffee truck plus charming outdoor furniture plus free WiFi plus a gorgeous, historic setting? Probably my dream place. Enter The High Line Hotel.

Situated inside a cluster of landmarked buildings that make up the former General Theological Seminary, the hotel was originally constructed in 1895 and was once Clement Clarke Moore's 17th-century apple orchard.

In addition to the rich history and charming architectural details of the building, the property also boasts an additional perk. During the warmer months, the front garden transforms into a full service restaurant, and this year, it is occupied by The Golden Hour. On Sunday through Thursday from 2 pm to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 2 pm to 11 pm, you can dine at the urban oasis.

And this part, this part pains me to write.

If you venture through the crowd of locals enjoying their morning cortados and matcha lattes and open the doors to the right of the coffee bar, you find ultimate urban paradise. You're welcome.
