I can go grocery shopping at 10:30 at night and be accompanied by others.
Though the line wasn't as long as the one above (store opening), there was still a LINE. At 10:30 at night. This would NEVER happen in Omaha and I have to say, I enjoyed waiting in line. Standing next to the other eco friendly (though probably not by choice, but by convenience-Wholefoods is the only grocery store that actually resembles a real "grocery store" aka has actual aisles and carts) shoppers, I was happy to know that 10:30 on a Wednesday night was the only time they could fit in a "maintenance run", as I like to call them. Mine includes:
-peanut butter
-cereal
-some kind of salad
-Coffee
-Oatmeal
-tuna
-nuts
-eggs
-tomatoes
-avocado
-cheeses
-chocolate something
-grapefruits and apples and banannas if I'm in the mood
-Ice cream
-more peanut butter
-frozen waffles
-Rice Cakes
-mozzarella and basil
That's all I can think of for now, and, being as this was only the third time I've ever actually bought groceries here, seems likely to change anyway....I'm hungry.....

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.

Yeah, I love the constant activity too. But I'd like it more if I could watch the activity from the front of the line.
