Stop the pigeon!

Anyone remember watching Wacky Races as a kid? If you do, then you probably remember Dick Dastardly (and his sidekick Muttely) singing the shows theme song:

"Muttley you snickering floppy eared hound, When courage is needed, you're never around! Those medals you wear on your moth-eaten chest, Should be there for bungling at which you are best! So, Stop The Pigeon, Stop The Pigeon, Stop The Pigeon, Stop The Pigeon, Stop The Pigeon, Stop The Pigeon Stop that Pigeon How ? Nab him - jab him - tab him - grab him, Stop that pigeon now!"

Well NYC, a home to a good number of pigeons wants to "stop the pigeon" be instituting a Pigeon Czar to enforce a ban on feeding, with a fine of $1,000 if caught. So what does this mean for us? No more poop on our heads of course!

"We hope people who are spending their time collecting old bread from bakeries to feed pigeons to poop on your head will stop," Councilman Simcha Felder, D-Brooklyn, said.
