[A Gawker Seating Chart] Choire Sicha and Alex Balk, both ex-Gawker editors, have launched a new site called The Awl. The site, which looks like Gawker might have in '02, was "birthed from the following thoughts: What if there were a website that zippily surveyed a wealth of resonant, weird, important, frightening, amusing bits of news and ideas? And what if it weren’t totally clogged with reality show linkbait?" Some topics already covered: a Gawker Headquarters Seating Chart, the odds of the space shuttle being hit by space crap on its path to the Hubble, and Miss USA California's response to Perez Hilton on Gay Marriage.
