Everyone here in New York seems to have one thing on their minds, and it's not the wet weather...It's Fashion Week, uh I meant it's the big win for the Giants last night, er no, no, it's Super Tuesday....WOW there's a lot going on here! And to tell you the truth, I'm starting to get sick of all three, (scratch that, I still eagerly await you Marc Jacobs). Tomorrow's ticket-tape parade sounds like it's going to be a massive mess, but really who cares? The last ticket-tape parade was way back in 2000 when the Yankees won the World Series, resulting in the NY Times questioning "Does This Town Still Know How To Give A Victory Parade?" I can't wait to see the stuporish look on Eli's Face when he is escorted through the raging crowd while magical papers are flying all around him. The parade starts at 11am at Battery Place. Meanwhile thousands of New Yorkers will be congregating at designated polling centers around the city (go here for the list), as the New York Primary aka "Super Tuesday" is tomorrow. It looks like the routine "weather banter" in the elevator is going to have to take the backseat for awhile. We have a lot of shit happening around town that we must be sure to vehemently state our opinions on...something New Yorkers are pros at.
