LIC Bike Parade

The Long Island City Bike Parade is one of the annual events that Socrates Sculpture Park hosts. Families are gathered around to decorate their bikes at workshops held by artists and get their bicycle helmets fitted. Recycle-A-Bicycle will offer free bike repairs and has a partnership with Bike New York, that provides bike lessons for kids. The bike ride will be along Vernon Boulevard and a celebration at the waterfront at Queensbridge Park will take place from 2-4 pm.
