St. Mark's haunting

Does ol' peg leg still haunt St. Mark's Church?
Peter Stuyvesant, known as the father of the earliest people to colonize Manhattan is thought to be still present in the city. Ever since his death in 1672, people have reported feeling a strange presence, seeing shadows and hearing the unmistakable sound of a "peg leg," at St. Mark's Church. Stuyvesant helped establish the original church which stood where St. Mark's Church now stands. He lost his leg in Curacao while on business and became famous for his wooden leg. [Photo via]
