Is having an excuse to throw a rad party the best part about writing a book? Maybe not, but it 's a definite perk to the no doubt labor intensive process. This week, Guest of a Guest sent photographers to two book launches: Perfect Fake Me and The Pre-Marital Survival Guide.

Nutritionist turned novelist Cari Kamm has a new book out, Fake Perfect Me. To celebrate, Social Diva threw a little soiree at MPD, sponsored by Moet & Chandon. Peg Samuels DJ'd while the crowd got copies of their books signed by Ms.Kamm, in the newest venue space to open in the ever-evolving Meatpacking District...
