Other details: Last night, Club Monaco unveiled their new 5th Avenue flagship with a grand opening party. The event brought out dozens of New York's most fashionable folk, who checked out the collection over wine and champagne. On the main floor, Ashley Olsen was mingling with guests, while Chelsea Leyland and Kate Foley fawned over the cashmere sweaters. Harley Viera Newton was talking to her friend Olivia Palermo, finally getting a night off from DJ'ing, with Caroline Polachek in charge of the music at the party. Delicious food was being passed around in the women's section, but hungry guests headed downstairs to menswear where there was a whole pork bun station. Hidden in the back of menswear, there was also a photo booth where a crowd of people waited to get pictures. A big attraction on the way downstairs was a guest's shiba inu dog, which was decked out in a blazer and tie to highlight the stylish event. Pitch Perfect stars Anna Camp and boyfriend Skylar Astin checked out the bookstore inside the boutique, run by Strand, which also featured Scott Lipps doing a special book signing for his new "Poplipps" book. As the night came to an end, many guests picked up coffee at the first Manhattan outpost of Toby's Estate Coffee, which was also a part of the store. Despite all of the glamorous major attractions in the boutique, our favorite part was the ladies lounge, which featured a beautiful fireplace, long, plush couch, coffee table books, and a couple of fitting rooms to make it a dream space.
