Other details: Last night, a select group of artists and cultural influencers gathered at the second annual Turtle Ball presented by the Turtle Conservancy. Eric Goode and Julian Sands welcomed Julian Schnabel, Harvey Keitel, Glenn O'Brien, and more who enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the Bowery Hotel, which featured several tanks with exotic river turtles swimming around. David Blaine was on hand, and performed some of his signature illusions for the guests, who spent much of the evening observing artwork donated by Peter Beard, Jean-Phillipe Delhomme, Nan Goldin, and more.
