Last Night's Parties: Justin Bieber Never Says Never, Fashionistas Celebrate

Justin Bieber rocked the purple shades on the red carpet and a homeless designer made good. W Hotels feted their chosen arbiters of style while other fashion types ate monogrammed cupcakes. Some women dropped $20,000 on the new Gucci bag. Last night was expensive, but worth it.

The tiny phenom hit the carpet for the premiere of his 3-D movie to the sounds of adoring hormonal tween girls whose mothers will sucker punch you in the throat if it means there kid will catch of glimpse of him shaking his hair. Other Details: Sue de Beer's "The Ghosts" will be up there from Feb 3rd-6th. It's a  two-channel film by Sue de Beer that tells the story of an occult hypnotist who can retrieve lost lengths of time from peoples' memories and return them to the patient as if they are experiencing those moments anew. Other Details: PAPER's Mickey Boardman hosted the event to fete the upcoming release of the film Dressed. The flick looks good! It documents a young homeless clothing designer, Nary Manivong,  who defies all odds to reach his ultimate dream and show his collection at New York Fashion Week. Ally Hilfiger was in attendance, dishing on her clothing line with Navy called NAHM: “Any girl who wants to wear our clothes, I support," she told  Niteside. "I’m very grateful to them, to even consider putting an item on that we design. They’re made for all women.” [Via]

Cocktails were sipped under a Mark Rothko as well heeled women chose what size, color, texture and finish they would like their new handbag. The biggest one, goes for $20,000.
