Other details: Last night, the New Museum hosted their annual Next Generation party. The night started off with a dinner featuring several young and prominent members of the art and culture world: Alexander Wang, Max Snow, and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld were among the chic crowd. Following the dinner, guests went to the main lobby where they had Svedka cocktails, Peroni beer, and champagne, as May Kwok controlled the music. The highlight of the evening came when George Lewis Jr., aka Twin Shadow, took to the stage. Though known for his fast, '80s-inspired rock, his set was more minimal and ambient, with only a keyboardist accompanying him as he strummed his guitar. The closer was his popular song "5 Seconds," which added excitement to the party.
