Where: McCarren Park Hotel Other details: On Friday, The Chia Co. hosted a pool party at the McCarren Park Hotel pool to celebrate their healthy offerings and kick off the weekend with a fun party. The weather was perfect for the event, and guests couldn't wait to take a dip in the pool. Timo + Alan from the clothing brand Timo Weiland were in charge of the music for the event, and kept a good flow with the perfect poolside tracks. DJ Franco V also showed up but rather than spinning, he enjoyed a leisurely afternoon with friends in the pool. Love & Paint co-founders Alex Esguerra and Tyler Peters jumped into the pool and enjoyed the vibes before breaking out the laptop to work on their ongoing art project. Wine courtesy of Wine Awesomeness was at the bar, while cocktails and shots were distributed to guests who were eager to start their weekend with a bang. Sliders and hors d'oeuvres also went around, but the highlight came halfway through the party when Chia-filled ice cream pops were served to the delight of the crowd.
