How Every NYC Neighborhood Voted In The 2016 Election

by Stephanie Maida · November 10, 2016

It's never a surprise when New York goes blue in an election. We mean, we're one of the most diverse cities in the world. Which, of course, is exactly why different neighborhoods, even in NYC, went different routes when casting their votes this Tuesday. While Hillary did receive 78.59% of the city's votes, compared to Trump's 18.4%, there were plenty of areas that stayed as steadfastly red as ever. Unsurprisingly, republicans were the most successful in Staten Island, whereas the Bronx displayed the highest percentage of people voting democrat.
