The GofG Pop-Up Party: Southern Hospitality

Last night's pop up party was a celebration of all things Americana at Southern Hospitality. Unfortunately, investor Justin Timberlake was not in the house, but plates and plates of comfort food more than made up for this.

Amongst beer signs and vintage Elvis pics, guests indulged in decadent mini heart attacks like chicken-fried steak, and endless heaps of french fries. True to Memphis style, the drink selection included the southern staples of whiskey and bourbon (who knew there were so many kinds?), and even a cocktail paying homage to the King

Food aside, the neon novelty signs, casual wood booths and eighties disco pumping the room lent the room an authentic feel, and packed with people clad in cut offs and ripped tees, it might as well have been the South.
