Daphne Guinness, that wonderful creature, insists it's easier to walk in 8 inch platforms than Uggs.

Last night, we found this quote to be funny and kooky--this morning, in light of the news of Alexander McQueen's death, we hope she's serious. Nobody rocks his crazy platforms like Daphne does. We can think of no better tribute to the late designer than having her proudly parade in them throughout the rest of the week, snow and all.
