Which multi-faceted artist/IT boy said the above in regard to today's preview of his new fashion line? Answer and more info about the event below...

It was none other than Liam McMullan, of course (pictured at left in Betsey Johnson's most recent fashion presentation).   Liam is playing co-host to a show, FIT Fashion Funk and Filanthrophy, in colloboration with accomplished artist Laurence Rassin.  Rassin's work includes everything from paintings, designs, furniture and more.  He uses advanced digital printing to transfer and reproduce his oil painting onto different textiles.  From what I've seen, I'd describe his art as modern, hip, avant-garde, and funky, for sure!

The print on the dress that Liam is debuting in the show is from a photograph taken by Dad, Patrick McMullan, (our favorite NYC famed photog), and the theme is asian-influenced.
