It's designer Diane von Furstenberg, to New York Times.  The designer was featured in Sunday's Buiness section where she talks about the importance of having confidence ("It's more important than ever to have confidence.") She also has a clear idea of what kind of woman she wants to be:

“I am not interested in making children’s clothes,” she says. “I want little girls to want to grow up to wear the clothes. I do not want to do men’s clothes. My mission in life, what I understand in life, is women. I wanted to be a certain kind of a woman. I became that kind of a woman.” [NYT]
