Which billionaire's wife alluded, in a major newspaper's profile on her, to a time when she and her husband would not have been able to donate $10 million to the High Line? Answer below...

That would be Lisa Maria Falcone, wife of Phillip A. Falcone, profiled yesterday in the New York Times. How did Mr. Falcone rise from cash-strapped poverty to such meteoric wealth? The Times explains: "Just two years ago he became a billionaire, by betting against subprime credit. His firm, which started with $25 million, now manages two funds with roughly $9 billion in assets and owns about 20 percent of The New York Times Company."
