Purchased: $19.5 million Taylor Swift cashed in earnings of over $55 million in 2013, so it comes as no surprise that she’s looking to upgrade to one of Manhattan’s trendiest neighborhoods: TriBeCa. The singer recently purchased a $19.5 double-penthouse-duplex-apartment in some of Manhattan's most coveted real estate in the triangle below canal. But for the price, she not only got one apartment, but also a second smaller one coming in at just over 4,000 square feet - compared to her main penthouse unit which is over 8,000 square feet. This just adds to her collection, as in 2012 she bought an expansive mansion in Rhode Island overlooking the ocean. [Photo via]
