Bill Maher has asked the right questions ... somebody please put their foot down at long last....  

PS: Time has come for humanity to mature beyond magical thinking and religion.  

Bill's 'documentary' is garbage. He makes a mockery of faith by finding the most ridiculous of people to interview. It's like shooting ducks in a pond. There are many people of faith that could have torn his thesis to shreds, but he never dared talk to them. How would Bill Maher have fared had he interviewed or debated Archbishop Fulton J Sheen? Not well, I'd have to say. For Bill to have any credibility in my mind, I'd like to see him publicly debate Father John Corapi, Father Benedict Greothchelle -- or perhaps John Martignoni. Christ is real as is the Church. I'm sad that Bill Maher uses his talents to attempt to revile both.  

It doesn't matter who he talked to. This film is for people who want to see religion mocked. It's not produced to convince people of faith to change their mind. People who believe in G-d, have their hearts made up. People who don't have their minds made up. Trying to convince either side that the other side isn't a bunch of idiots is a pointless waste of time.  

Walter, Let me get this straight... Father John Corapi would have been able to prove to Maher the existence of an all-knowing, all-powerful, benevolent being who lives in the sky and likes to kill people for having pre-marital sex? Grow up, my friend. You've wasted your entire life believing in something that's as rational as the Easter Bunny. But you still have time left.  

Thanks, Walter. I felt much obliged to at least come up with some sort of reply with an attempt to defend this hilariously constructed, very clever and original documentary. Though, the comment before yours portrays some level of intelligence, it still reminds me of the mind of a child. Simple words to live by: "Grow up or die".
