Calling all cinephiles! What better way is there to start your day than with mimosas and a movie?
Metrograph, the chicest movie theater in the city, is officially kicking off brunch service at its on-site Commissary Restaurant.
The Lower East Side locale is typically open throughout the week for dinner, but starting this Saturday, film snobs and foodies alike can pre- or post-game a matinee with decadent brunch favorites all weekend from 11 am to 4 pm.
While the artsy films may be obscure, the brunch menu is filled with all the classics. Offerings include the signature Metrograph burger, along with avocado toast, chicken and waffles, French toast, and eggs served every way, from huevos rancheros to scrambled with mascarpone and wild mushrooms. And you'll obviously want to wash it all down with mimosas, bloody marys, and everyone's favorite midday-must, espresso martinis.
If you're looking for the perfect day date idea, this all-in-one option certainly beats "grabbing coffee."
