If you like Chinese hot pot, you will definitely find yourself fond of this spicy “dry hot pot” freshly introduced to the East Village by Má Là Project. Although it sounds like a new thing here, it’s already been a national fad back in China. You can make your own pot by picking from 52 ingredients, $3 to $8 each for a handful amount, not too bad for a numbing and tingling date with some Sichuan peppercorns.
